How it works
What can I make with Clear Cortex?
Images and video clips. Image and Video are ordinary prompt bars — pick a model, describe what you want, press generate, and the price is on the button before you do. Everything you make lands in Assets, one library for all of it. There are three other ways in when a single prompt isn't the job: a ready-made workflow, the canvas for chaining models and files together, and the Claude connector for doing it all from a conversation.
Which AI models can I use?
Seven image models — Nano Banana 2 and Nano Banana Pro, GPT Image 2, Seedream 4.5, and Flux.2 in Klein, Pro and Max — and eight video models: Seedance 2.5, Seedance 2.0 and 2.0 Mini, Kling 3.0 Standard and Pro, Veo 3.1 and Veo 3.1 Fast, and Hailuo 3. The Image Studio also lists every other image model our provider carries, each with its price shown before you generate. Chat, audio and code models live in the workspace. All of it is one login and one budget. What each model is best at→
Can I use my own product photos as references?
Yes. Upload your own shots and attach them to the prompt: Nano Banana and Seedream take up to 14 reference images, GPT Image 2 up to 16, Flux.2 between four and eight. In Video you set the first frame and the last frame on any of the eight models, so a clip can start on your product shot and end where you want it, and Seedance also takes up to four reference images. References have to be images you uploaded or generated here, not a link to somewhere else.
Will my work be saved between sessions?
Yes. Every image and clip you generate lands in Assets, one library you can sort into folders, favourite and download whenever you want. The canvas is persistent in the same way — spread work across space, branch it, and come back days later with everything still there, including the connections showing how each result was reached. Why a canvas→
Where do I start?
With a playbook. Each one walks through a real job step by step — making an ad, a poster with GPT Image 2, one product shot six ways — with the prompts and settings that were used, so you can copy the run and swap in your own product. The guides cover the background: what AI UGC or ad creative actually is, and where it works.Browse the playbooks→
Can I use Clear Cortex from inside Claude?
Yes. Add Clear Cortex to Claude as a connector and Claude can make images and clips, browse and search what you've already made, bring files in as references, and sort things into folders. It draws on the same credits as the studios, and hands you back here when you want to work on something by hand.Set up the connector→
What is a workflow?
A chain someone has already wired — you fill in the inputs and press run, and the price is shown before you do. It's the quickest way to a finished result when the job is one that comes up again and again.See the workflows→
Billing & plans
What does a video clip actually cost?
It depends on the model, the length, and whether you want sound — and the exact price is on the Generate button before you press it. For scale: five seconds of 480p on Seedance 2.0 Mini is about 19p, and eight seconds of Veo 3.1 with audio is about £3.60. Video is charged at what the clip actually cost once it lands, not at the estimate.See what it costs→
How does billing work — will I get multiple invoices?
One login, one invoice, one pot of credit. Every model and every modality — image, video, chat, audio, code — draws from the same budget, so there's nothing to reconcile across providers and no stack of separate AI subscriptions to keep track of.
Can I cancel anytime, and are fees refundable?
You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime from billing; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable.Fees and billing in our Terms→
Do I need a subscription to run a workflow?
No. Workflows are pay as you go — create a free account, top up a small amount of credits, and each run shows its price before you press Run. A subscription is for the rest of the platform: the Image and Video studios and the workspace, with monthly credits included.
Can I use my budget on any model, or is it locked to one?
Any model. Your credit is fungible — spend the same balance on an image model this morning and a video model this afternoon. Nothing is locked to a single provider.
How does my monthly budget work?
Your plan gives you a set budget each month, and you can spend it on anything — image, video, chat, audio or code. It's an allowance for that month rather than a balance that rolls over, so it's worth choosing a plan that fits how much you actually make. Credit you top up for a workflow run is separate, and that doesn't expire.
Can I try Clear Cortex without signing up?
There's a free playground with no signup — a small sandbox of the canvas, enough to see how the pieces wire together. Generating real images and clips needs an account, because every generation costs real money the moment it runs.Open the playground→
Your data & privacy
Do you train AI on my data, or sell it?
No. Clear Cortex does not sell your data, and we do not use your content — including the product shots and brand assets you upload as references — to train any models of our own. Your prompts, files and references are sent to the AI model providers that power the platform solely to generate your results, under their API terms.
How long do you keep my uploaded files?
Your uploads, the images and clips you generate, and your canvases are kept for as long as your account is open. We don't expire, purge, or clean up files on our end — they're there whenever you come back. When you close your account, they're permanently deleted from our storage.Full retention schedule in our Privacy Policy→
Can I delete my data?
Yes — you're in control. Delete an image from Assets and the file goes from our storage with it, delete a workspace and the files in it are removed, and closing your account permanently deletes everything you've uploaded.
Is Clear Cortex GDPR compliant, and where is my data stored?
Clear Cortex Ltd is registered in England and Wales and is UK GDPR compliant. Some providers may process data outside the UK/EEA; where they do, we rely on ICO-approved Standard Contractual Clauses. You have full data-subject rights — access, correction, erasure, and portability — and can email us to exercise any of them.Read the Privacy Policy→
Can I export my data and take it with me?
Yes — your work is yours to take. Download any image or clip from Assets, pull outputs, files and audio out of the canvas, and download original documents back out of any DataStore, anytime. Nothing is trapped on the platform.
Account & access
Can I use Clear Cortex on mobile?
Making things is a desktop job — the studios and the canvas are both built for a big screen. Mobile is for capture, preview and sharing: dropping in a file, reviewing what came out, and sending someone a link.
What happens to my work if I close my account?
Closing your account permanently deletes your canvases, uploaded files, and the images and clips you generated from our storage.Data retention details→
Canvas & DataStore
Do I have to learn the canvas to use this?
No. Image and Video are ordinary prompt bars and never need the canvas. The canvas is a separate studio for when a single prompt isn't the job and you want to chain models, files and your own data together — every result stays on the board, connected to what made it.What the workspace is for→
What is a DataStore?
A DataStore is a private corpus you upload once — PDFs, spreadsheets, transcripts, notes — that the AI queries where it lives, never copying it off into a model. Every answer comes back cited to the exact source page, so you can click straight through to where a number came from.Explore DataStore→
